After the Prophets, the holy group of the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) is superior and highest of all creatures. This greatness and excellence is only available to the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) that Allah has guaranteed them forgiveness, Paradise and His pleasure in this world. Many Quranic verses and hadiths bear witness to this. Loving the Companions and acknowledging the superiority of the young men that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has described in the blessed hadiths is part of faith. Otherwise, faith is incomplete. Scholars have written permanent books about the virtues and merits of the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them). The book under review, “The Virtues of the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them), has been written by Imam Abdul Rahman al-Nasa’i, the author of Sunan al-Nasa’i. Imam al-Nasa’i (may Allah have mercy on him) has mentioned the virtues of the four caliphs and the remaining ten blessed years in the light of authentic hadiths in this book. After this, along with other companions and companions, the virtues of the emigrants and the Ansar, the virtues of the tribes of the Ansar, love for the Ansar is a sign of faith, and hatred for them is a sign of hypocrisy, and other important topics have been included in a series of hadiths with beautiful chapter arrangement. The honorable Mr. Ahmad Siddique (Fazal Madinah University, Lecturer, Faculty of Quran and Islamic Education, Phulingar) has had the honor of translating and editing this book. May Allah Almighty accept this effort of the translator and publishers. And make this book a means for the general public to understand the greatness and virtues of the Companions (Amen).
