Jama Al Fawaid 7 Vol.Complete Set

The book Jam’ al-Fawaid is the work of the great scholar and hadith scholar of Morocco, Imam Muhammad bin Sulayman al-Maghribi (deceased 1094 AH). In it, he has combined Jam’ al-Usul by Ibn al-Atheer and Majma’ al-Zawaid by al-Haithmi. In fact, this book is a collection of 15 well-known books of hadith, which include, in addition to the Sahih, the Muwatta of Imam Malik, Musnad Ahmad, Musnad Bazzar, Musnad Abu Ya’la, Sunan Darimi, Zawaid Razin and the three dictionaries of Tabarani. The total number of hadiths in it is 1031 and consists of four volumes. The author has arranged and compiled these hadiths in the order of “Jami’”, the order of its chapters is the same as in Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, starting with the Book of Faith and ending with the Book of Paradise and Hell. The book under review is “Urdu Sharh Jam’ al-Fawaid min Jam’ al-Usul wam Majma’ al-Zawaid” (Urdu Explanation of Jam’ al-Fawaid min Jam’ al-Usul wam Majma’ al-Zawaid) by Ansar al-Sunnah Publications, Lahore. Ansar-e-Sunnah Publications has decorated it in 7 volumes with translation, commentary and benefits. The translation was done by Maulana Abu Ahmad Dilpaizr, may Allah protect him, and the work of commentary and benefits was done by Sheikh al-Hadith Hafiz Muhammad Abbas Anjum Gondalvi, may Allah protect him, in a good manner. Sheikh al-Hadith Hafiz Muhammad Abbas Anjum has pointed out weak hadiths and weak narrators in the commentary and mentioned references from authentic and famous books of Asma al-Rijal. And while explaining, if there is any ambiguity, problem or apparent contradiction in a hadith, he has explained the ambiguity and reconciled the contradiction in a very concise and researched manner and has also quoted references from famous commentaries on hadith and other related books. Also, going beyond religious prejudice, he has presented the solution to the controversial issues in the light of the Book, Sunnah and the understanding and practice of the companions of the Prophet. May Allah Almighty make this book a true source of correction and guidance for the public and private, and a continuous charity for the translator, publisher, and other contributors. Amen (PBUH).
