Mahazrat e Hadees

Serving Hadith and Sunnah is a great and blessed task. Every Muslim must contribute to it at some level or another, so that he or she will be counted among the servants of the Prophet's Sunnah on the Day of Judgment. And this is an honor whose value and worth can only be estimated when one appears before Allah Almighty. Scholars have served in many ways and respects to preserve the Hadiths of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). The compilation of Hadith began during the time of the Prophet and flourished during the era of the Companions and followers. It flourished greatly during the era of the Imams of Hadith. Different Imams of Hadith compiled many collections of Hadiths. The Imams of Hadith did not limit their efforts to collecting and compiling Hadiths, but also examined them from a technical standpoint and formulated their principles. Along with this, they also divided the books of Hadith into different categories and determined their specific terminology. The book under review, “Mahadizat Hadith” is the work of the respected Dr. Mahmood Ahmed Ghazi. It actually consists of his lessons and lectures that he presented to the Quranic madrasas affiliated with the Quranic study circles in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
