In Islamic law, prayer is a very important and important pillar and it has been made obligatory to observe it. Rather, prayer is a distinction between disbelief and faith. When it is proven from authentic hadiths, the traditions of the Companions, the traditions of the Tabi’een and the Imams that raising the hands when bowing and standing up is proven, what is the value of the actions of the weak, the imams, and a few Tabi’een? The issue of lifting the hands has been made a matter of debate and supporters and opponents have written a lot on it and tried to clarify it. One of these efforts is the great effort of Maulana Hafiz Zubair Ali Zai, a researcher of Hadith, may Allah protect him. In which he has tried to clarify the issue of lifting the hands. He has presented various arguments of different people, their scholarly analysis, and then a scientific trial of these arguments. Therefore, first of all, by explaining the importance of the Sunnah, he has made it clear to a Muslim that the purpose of a Muslim's life should be to follow and adhere to the Sunnah. Therefore, after clarifying this topic, he has presented other issues. After explaining the arguments of lifting the hands in great detail and detail, he has clarified the objections raised against it and answered them in a scientific manner. In which he has tried to clarify this issue with the actions of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), as well as the actions of the Companions and the actions and sayings of the later Tabi'een and the successors of the Tabi'een. Noor al-Ainin fi Masalat Rafa al-Yadeen has been published many times before due to its importance and usefulness. It is very popular in academic and serious circles, and it would be fair to say that there is a great revolution in the academic world, which is why this book is still amazing despite the passage of a long time. The old edition of this book () is also available on the Muhaddith Library. Now the same book has been republished with more corrections and additions. In which Hafiz Zubair Ali Zai, may God protect him, has included many other scientific and research discussions. For example, the issue of raising the hands in prostrations, a review of the narrations of Akhbar al-Fiqhaa wa’l-Muhaddishin, the commentary attributed to Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may God be pleased with him) and abandoning raising the hands, etc. It should be noted that in this edition, previous tolerances etc. have been corrected and some have also been clarified.
