About the author:

Cora Mason is a prominent American scholar, teacher, and classics expert. She completed her education at prominent institutions such as Wellesley College and the University of Cambridge and completed her PhD from Radcliffe College. Cora Mason taught classical languages and philosophy at institutions such as Buckingham School (Cambridge, Massachusetts) and Ripon College (Wisconsin), and made several educational and cultural trips to Greece, which further broadened her intellectual horizons. Her famous work "Socrates: The Man Who Dared To Ask" presents the personality, life and thoughts of Socrates in a simple, effective and insightful manner. The attempt to make classical thought accessible to the general public is a special characteristic of her writing. Her style of expression is not only scholarly but also awakens intellectual curiosity.
